PURSUANT to the provisions of section 11 (1) of Assumption of the Office of Governor Act, 2019 which provides that “The committee shall publish, by notice in the Kenya Gazette and the County Gazette, the date, time and place for the conduct of swearing in ceremony”; I, Ibrahim Adan Sora, in my capacity as the County Secretary and the Chairperson of Assumption of Office of the Governor Committee notifies the general public that Mohamud Mohamed Ali, the Marsabit County Governor-elect and Solomon Gubo Riwe, the Marsabit County Deputy Governor-elect, shall be sworn in on the 25th August, 2022, at Marsabit Stadium from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. Dated the 16th August, 2022.
