THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Abdulrahman Mohamed Basheikh, of P.O. Box 80840–80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of freehold interest of all that piece of land containing 2.958 hectares or thereabout, known as 1642/III/MN, situate in the Kilifi Municipality in the Kilifi District, registered as C.R. 36688/1, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the deed file register in respect thereof is lost or destroyed, and the owner has executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government of Kenya, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided that no objection has been received within that period, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file register and remove the restriction as provided under the section 33 (5) of land registration Act.
