Each Director will be personally responsible for his/her directorate and will submit reports every 6 weeks to the Cabinet Secretary on the activities of their directorates including preparation of the rallies taking place in the Country and outside the Country in which Kenya is participating. The functions of the Steering Committee shall be to approve the budget, offer policy guidance and organizational framework meeting international standards for hosting of the FIA World Championship Safari Rally. 5th August, 2022 THE KENYA GAZETTE The Term of Office for the Steering Committee and Organizing Committee shall be for a period of four (4) years, effective 1st May, 2022 to organise the WRC Safari Rally for the periods 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. The Organizing Committee shall be based at the Kasarani offices of the WRC Safari Rally. The Chief Executive Officer (at JG T) shall be the head of the Organizing Committee. Funding The schedule of duties and work plan of each directorate shall be approved by the Steering Committee. The activities of the Steering Committee (SC) and Organizing Committee (OC) shall be funded through the regular Government Budget on grant basis. The Steering Committee (SC) and Organizing Committee (OC) may also receive grants from well-wishers and sponsors to finance any planned activities. The Gazette Notice herein supersedes and revokes
