IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 16 (2) and Para. 2 of the Fourth Schedule of the Science, Technology and Innovation 5th August, 2022 THE KENYA GAZETTE Act, and section 6 (1) (a) of the State Corporations Act, I, Uhuru Kenyatta, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces of the Republic of Kenya appoint— JOHN WAITHAKA to be the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Kenya Forestry Research Institute, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from the 28th July, 2022.
