THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT

(No. 13 of 2019)

PURSUANT to the provision of section 13 (g) of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, 2019, notice is given that the Director— General of Physical and Land use Planning intends to commence preparation of the above Plan on the 28th March, 2022. The purpose of the Plan is: Provide a detailed framework for implementation of horizontal infrastructure and seamlessly integrate development activities within the Technopolis. The objectives of the Plan are: (a) To co—ordinate and guide development of physical infrastructure. (b) To provide harmonized standards for guiding physical developpent activities/projects by public institutions and private investors. (c) Secure and safeguard the integrity of the city as envisioned in Vision 2030 and Legal Notice No 23 of 2012 which established the Konza Technopolis Development Authority. Written comments on the proposed plan may be directed to the Director—General of Lands and Physical Planning, P.O Box 45025- 00100, Nairobi, or Principal Secretary, State Department of Physical Planning, P.O.
