IT IS notified for the general information, that pursuant to Standing Order 33 of the County Assembly of Turkana, by a resolution made on Wednesday, 16th February, 2022, the County Assembly approved its Calendar (Regular Session) for 2022, as set out in the Schedule– SCHEDULE Sitting Period Sitting Days Recess Dates FIRST PART Tuesday, 8th February, 2022 to Thursday, 14th April, 2022 Tuesday –Morning Wednesday– Morning and Afternoon Thursday–Morning Friday, 15th April, 2022 to Monday, 2nd May, 2022 SECOND PART Tuesday, 3rd May, 2022 to Thursday, 9th June 2022 Tuesday –Morning Wednesday– Morning and Afternoon Thursday–Morning SINE DINE RECESS: Friday, 10th June – Monday, 8th August, 2022 End of Term of the 2nd Assembly: 8th August, 2022 at midnight. Note: 1. The County Assembly shall sit from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. for the morning sessions and 2.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. for the afternoon sessions pursuant to Standing Order 35 of the Standing Orders. 2.
