THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Odongo Okumu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as Rusinga/Kamasengre/50, situate in the district of Homa Bay, and whereas Senior Resident Magistrate's Court at Mbita in succession cause no. E94 of 2021, has issued grant documents to Samwel Ooko Odongo, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with production of the said land title deed an proceed with the registration of the said instrument of transfer and issue land title deed to the said to Samwel Ooko Odongo, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Odongo Okumu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
