THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mary Mumbi Kimani (deceased) is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as Sosian/Sosian/Block 3/674 (Maundu Ni Med), situate in the district of Laikipia, and whereas the Principal Magistrate's Court at Nyahururu in succession cause No. 90 of 2017, has issued a grant in favour of (1) Paul Mungai Kimani and (2) Stephen Njoroge Kimani, and whereas the said (1) Paul Mungai Kimani and (2) Stephen Njoroge Kimani, have excecuted an application to be registered by transmission R.L. 19, whereas sufficient has been adduced to show that the land title deed issued therefore has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in the name of (1) Paul Mungai Kimani and (2) Stephen Njoroge Kimani, and upon such registration the land title deed issued to the said Mary Mumbi Kimani, (deceased) shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
