THE LABOUR RELATIONS ACT
(No. 14 of 2007)
AMENDMENT
NOTICE is given to all members of Bakery, Confectionery, Food
Manufacturing and Allied Workers' Union (Kenya) in pursuant to section 27 (4) of the Labour Relations Act, that a notice of change of the constitution of the union has been received.
Any member intending to raise any objection against the amendments of the constitution is required to submit in writing any objections within twenty-one (21) days from the date hereof. The amendments are open for scrutiny from the undersigned office during working hours.
Any objections to the proposed grant of license with respect to the applicant, should be lodged in writing with the Agriculture and Food
Authority - Coffee Directorate, Coffee Plaza Building, along the
Exchange lane, Off Haile Selassie Avenue and of P. 0. Box 30566-
0100, Nairobi within fourteen (14) days from the date of this notice.
The objection should state clearly the name, address and telephone number of the person/s or entity objecting, the reasons for the objection to the grant of the license and should be signed by the objector.
The Agriculture and Food Authority proposes to issue the license to the applicants who will have complied with the Crops Act of 2013, the Coffee (General) Regulations, 2002 and the Coffee (General)
(Amendment) Rules, 2006 and any other relevant written law by 4th
September, 2020.
