NOTICE is given that on the 18th December, 2019, the County Government of Makueni pursuant to Physical and Land Use Planning Act, 2019, section 49 sub-sections 1 and 2, and Physical Planning Act Cap. 286 (Repealed) sections 26 (I) and 27 (2) finalized the preparation of the local physical and land use development plans for 12 towns in Makueni County. The plans prepared shall provide the overall framework for development within the towns and markets for purposes of guiding and co-ordinating development on infrastructural facilities and services for an area referred to specific control of the use and development of land or for the provision of any land in such area for public purposes for the next 5 years. Draft copies of the plans are available for public reference and inspection at the offices of County Secretary's Office-Governor's Office Block, Chief Officer and CECM for Lands, Mining, Physical Planning and Urban Development offices, County Director of Land and Physical Planning, and all the Sub-county Administrator's offices The same can also be accessed from the county website (www .makueni .go .ke). Any person wishing to make any representations in the form of written statement(s) may do so through the office of the County Secretary. Dated the 17th January, 2020.
