GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 1266

IT IS notified for the general information of the public that this is a Framework to amend the Kitui County Community Level Infrastructure Development Program Framework, 2017 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal Framework") as passed by the County Assembly of Kitui. 1. Clause 1 (a) is amended by deleting the words "County Ministry of Tourism and Natural Resources" and inserting the words "County Ministry of Lands, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development". 3. The principal Framework is amended in Clause 5 by inserting the following sub-clauses immediately after sub-clause (q)— (r) opening of new roads by hiring a bulldozer machine for a maximum of 170 hours per ward; and (s) grading of roads by hiring a grader for a maximum of 170 hours per ward. 4. Clause 17 is amended by deleting the words "one million" and inserting "two million". 5. The principal Framework is amended in clause 23 by deleting "25 (a)" and inserting "22 (a)" immediately after the word under, and deleting the words "one million" and inserting the words "two million" immediately after the word of. 6. The form prescribed in Clause 25 is amended in the heading by deleting the words "County Ministry of Administration and Co- ordination of County Affairs" and inserting in the heading the words "Office of the Governor". The licences, if granted, will enable the applicants to operate and provide the services as indicated above. The grant of these licenses may affect public and local authorities, companies, persons or bodies of persons within the country. The Authority wishes to notify the general public that any legal or natural person, or group of individuals, who are desirous of making any representation and/or any objection to the said applications, to do so vide a letter addressed to; The Director-General, Communications Authority of Kenya, CA Centre, Waiyaki Way, P.O. Box 14448- 00800, Nairobi, indicating the Licence Category on the cover enclosing it. The said representation and/or objection must be filed on or before expiry of thirty (30) days from the date of this notice and a copy of the same be forwarded to the applicants.
