THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Githua Gitahi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.353 hectare or thereabouts; known as Githi/Muthambi/1772, situate in the district of Nyeri, and whereas in the High Court at Nyeri in succession cause no. 124 of 2006, has ordered that the said piece of land be transferred to Joyce Wanjugu Githua, and whereas the land title deed issued in respect to the said piece of land is lost/cannot be traced, to be surrendered to the land registrar for cancellation, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and issue a land title deed to the said Joyce Wanjugu Githua and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Githua Gitahi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
