THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS, the members of the society have petitioned to the Commissioner for the cancellation of registration of Trans-Kenya Women Sacco Society Limited (CS/13679) under the provisions of the Co-operative Societies Act and pursuant to section 62 (1) (b), (c), I cancel the registration of the said Society and order that it be liquidated. Further, pursuant to section 65 of the Co-operative Societies Act, I appoint Joel Kipsanai Barbengi, Principal Co-operative Auditor, Elgeyo Markwet, to be the liquidator for a period not exceeding one (1) year and authorize him to take into his custody all the properties of the said society including such books and documents as are deemed necessary for completion of the liquidation.
