THE BIRTHS AND DEATHS REGISTRATION ACT

(Cap. 149)

REGISTRATION

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 29 Rule (25) of the Births and Deaths Registration Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Co-ordination of National Government declares that: 1. With effect from the 27th June, 2019, all applications for registration of births and for issuance of certificates of birth shall be exempt from payment of registration fees and fees chargeable for issuance of certificates of birth. 2. The exempt from registration fees and fees chargeable fot issuance of certificates of birth shall operate for one and a half months ending on the 16th August, 2019. Dated the 27th June, 2019.
