GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 3561

PURSUANT to the provision of the Kajiado County Rating Act (2016) and complemented by the Rating Act (Cap. 266), the County Government of Kajiado is in the process of preparing a comprehensive Valuation Roll for all ratable properties within and outside designated urban areas within the County’s jurisdiction. The ratable properties falling outside designated urban areas to be covered in the Valuation Roll shall include but not limited to parcels of land used for; industrial purposes, flats, apartments and estates for rental purposes, private educational institutions, commercial use, energy generation plants, flower farming, poultry hatcheries, concrete and building production plants, steel/metal production and fabrication plants, hotels, resorts and recreational facilities (funfare parks, wedding and events gardens), petrol/filling service stations, quarries and mineral extraction firms and storage yards for raw material or wares and any other properties whose use is non-agricultural. The exercise commences on the 23rd April, 2019 and shall be completed on 1st October, 2019. Members of the public are advised to provide necessary information to enable the appointed valuer(s) to compile data and complete the program within the prescribed contractual timeframe.
