PURSUANT to section 15 of the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution as read with sections 23 and 24 of Transition to Devolved Governments Act, 2012 and further to the Legal Notice No. 16 of 2nd August, 2019 2013, through which the Transitional Authority approved the transfer of function specified in the Schedule to the County Government of Vihiga with effect • from 9th August, 2013 vide Kenya Gazette Supplement No. 116 (Legislative Supplement No. 51), the County Executive Committee (CEC) Member responsible for Health in Vihiga County do in exercise of powers conferred by section 22 (2) (b) of the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Act, declare the institutions named in the Schedule hereunder to be approved institutions for the purposes of that section.
