THE COUNTY GOVERNMENTS ACT

APPROVAL

NOTICE is given that on 6th February, 2019, the County Assembly of Tharaka Nithi pursuant to Article 185 (4) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and section 110 (3) of the County Governments Act, 2012 approved and adopted the above development plan. The plan provides the overall framework for development in the municipality and will guide the development and investment decisions of all the sectors in the municipality for the next ten (10) years. Approved copies of the development plan are available for public reference at the following offices: CECM, Lands Office, Physical Planning Office, Chiakariga, Igambang'ombe and Mariani Ward Administrator's offices. The same can also be accessed from the county website (www.tharakanithi.go.ke). Any person wishing to purchase copies of the approved plan and the written statement may do so on application to the CECM, Ministry of Lands, Physical Planning, Housing, Urban Development, Environment and Natural Resources.
