IN ACCORDANCE with the Records Disposal (Courts) Rules, notice is given that three (3) months after the date of publication of this notice, the Principal Magistrate Court at Kithimani intends to apply to the Chief Justice, for leave to destroy the record's, books and papers of the Principal Magistrate's Court at Kithimani as set out below: Year Criminal cases 2007-May , 2016 Traffic clt.ses 2007-May, 2016 Miseellaneous 2009-May, 2016 Sexual Offences 2009,May, 2016 ' Inquest 2007-2013 A comprehensive list of all condemned records that qualify to be disposed under the Act can be obtained and pertised at the Principal Magistrate's Court Registry, Kithimani. Any person desiring the return of an exhibit in any of the above cases must make. his/her claim on or before three (3) months from the date of publication of this notice. All exhibits to which no claim is substantiated before the destruction of the records shall under section 4 be deemed to be part of the records for the purposes of destruction. Box 41735-00100, Nairobi in Kenya, within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of this notice, upon payment of storage charges failure to which the said motor vehicle will be sold by public auction or private treaty without further notice and the proceed therefrom will be utilized to defray storage charges and any other incidental costs and the shortfall, if any, will be recovered from the owners by legal proceedings.
