PURSUANT to Articles 196 and 201 of the Constitution of Kenya and provisions of the Public Finance Management Act, 2012, which requires public participation in the budget process and consultation of the residents by the County Government on all matters relating to financial management, the Narok County Assembly will hold public participation forums to validate the Budget Estimates for FY- 2019/2020, on Friday, 21st June, 2019, at the venues indicated below starting at 8.30 a.m. Sub-County Ward Venue Narok North Narok Town Ward Youth Empowerment Centre Narok West Ilmotiok Ward Mulot Trading Centre Emurua Dikirr Ololmaasani Ward Olchoposei Kapkoros PEFA Church Kilgoris Kilgoris Central ward Shartuka Trading Centre Narok South Ololulung'a Ward Ololulung'a Trading Centre Narok East Ildamat Ward Eor-ekule Trading Centre The budget estimates can be downloaded at www.narok.go.ke. Members of the public and other stakeholders can send their views or memorandum on or before 22nd June, 2019, by email to info@ narokassembly.or.ke or by hand delivery to: The Clerk, Narok County Assembly.
