THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Stefano Gatumo Njue (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.214 hectares or thereabout, known as Kyeni/Mufu/1369, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas the senior principal magistrate's court at Runyenjes in succession cause No. 133 of 2016, has ordered that the said piece of land be registered in the name of Charles Nyaga Gatumu, and whereas all the efforts made to recover the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land by the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue a land title deed to the said Charles Nyaga Gatumu, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Stefano Gatumo Njue (deceased), shill be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
