NOTICE is given of the proposed transfer of the general insurance business of Madison Insurance Company Kenya Limited to Madison General Insurance Kenya Limited. The proposed transferor is Madison Insurance Company Kenya Limited of Madison Insurance House, Upperhill Road, P.O. Box 47382-00100, Nairobi ("Madison Insurance"). The proposed transferee is Madison General Insurance Kenya Limited of Madison Insurance House, Uppethill Road, P.O. Box 47382-00100, Nairobi ("Madison General"). Subject to the approval of the Insurance Regulatory Authority, Madison Insurance will transfer its general insurance business to Madison General. Madison Insurance will retain all of its long-term insurance business. Details of the general insurance business which will be transferred to Madison General are set out in a Statement of Particulars which is available for public inspection as shown below. Both Madison Insurance and Madison General are wholly owned subsidiaries of Madison Group Limited. Application has been made to the Insurance Regulatory Authority for approval of the proposed transfer pursuant to the provisions of section 113 of the Insurance Act. Copies of a Statement setting out particulars of the transfer have been deposited at the following offices.
