THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS James Ngugi Irwa Waicigo (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as Sosian/Sosian Block 3/1516 (Maundu ni Meri), situate in the district of Laikipia, and whereas the chief magistrate’s court at Nyahururu in succession cause No. 133 of 2017, has issued grant in favour of (1) Ann Wangari Ngugi and (2) Sarah Njeri Ngugi, and whereas the said James Ngugi Irwa Waicigo has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19, and whereas the land title deed of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registerd as proprietor by transmission of R. L. 19 in the names of (1) Ann Wangari Ngugi and (2) Sarah Njeri Ngugi, and upon such registration the land title deed issued to the said James Ngugi Irwa Waicigo (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
