GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 10675

NOTICE is given that pursuant to sections 3 (1) and 6 (5) (b) of the County Governments Act, 2012, as read with section 102 (1) of the Public Finance Management Act, 2012 and Article 179 (1) of the Constitution of Kenya, I, Mohamed Abdi Kuti, the Governor of the County Government of Isiolo, appoint the following persons to be members of the County Government of Isiolo Pending Bills Audit Report Implementation Task Force; Amina Sheikh Abdulkadir (Chairperson) ; Hersi Halake Bante; Andrew Lelias Lentoiyoni; Benedict Mwongela; Daniel Kanyugo Lenyangume ( Joint Secretary) Linus Thuranira Gichunge (Joint Secretary) Hassan Bonaya Adano; and Bishop Stephen Kalunyu M'Tarichia. The terms of reference of the Task Force will be: (a) to scrutinize and verify the existing stock of pending bills against the County Government as captured in the Pending Bills Verification Task Force Report; (b) to authorize the payment of the duly scrutinized and verified pending bills; and (c) to take appropriate measures for the implementation of all other recommendations made' in the Pending Bills Verification Task Force Report. In the performance of its task, the Task Force: (a) shall regulate its own procedure; (b) may co-opt not more than four (4) other persons who possess relevant expertise and skills where it considers necessary; (c) shall provide interim reports for consideration; and, (d) shall submit a final report to the Governor at the end of its term.
