THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Alice Akinyi (deceased), of P.O. Box 348, Luanda in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of those pieces of land known as North Gem/Maliera/1526,1546 &1604, situate in the district of Siaya, and whereas the principal magistrate’s court at Siaya in succession cause No. 19 of 2018, has ordered that the pieces of land to be registered in the name of (1) Everline Anyango Ofula and (2) Michael Osese Odhiambo, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deeds issued thereof by the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue land title deeds to the said (1) Everline Anyango Ofula and (2) Michael Osese Odhiambo, and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Alice Akinyi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
