NOTICE is given that pursuant to section 20 (6), (7) and (8) of the Crops Act, the Agriculture and Food Authority proposes to grant licence to the following applicant:

The Agriculture and Food Authority proposes to issue the licence to the applicant who will have complied with the Crops Act of 2013, and any other relevant written law on 30th April, 2018.

IN ACCORDANCE with the Records Disposal (Courts) Rules, notice is given that three (3) months after the date of publication of this notice, the Principal Magistrate's Court at Marsabit, intends to apply to the Chief Justice for leave to destroy the records, books and papers of the Principal Magistrate's Court at Marsabit as set out below:

A comprehensive list of all condemned records that qualify to be disposed under the Act can be obtained and perused at the Principal
Magistrate's Court Registry, Marsabit.
Any person desiring the return of any exhibit in any of the above cases must make his/her claim within the time stipulated in this publication should do so before the expiry of the notice.
All exhibits to which no claim is substantiated before the destruction of the records shall under section 4 be deemed to be part of the records for the purposes of destruction.

PURSUANT to Article 165 (1) of the Constitution of Kenya and section 10 (2) (b) of the High Court (Oiganization and Administration)
Act, 2015, notice is given as follows:
The Easter Recess of the High Court and Courts of Equal Status shall commence on 22nd March, 2018 and terminate on 3rd April, 2018, both days inclusive.
For avoidance of doubt, Recess Duty Judges shall be appointed to hear and try matters arising during recess in accordance with the High
Court (Practice and Procedure) Rules as follows:
In respect of High Court Stations and Divisions, by the
Presiding Judges at the respective Stations and Divisions;
In respect of the Employment and Labour Relations Court , by the Principal Judge of that Court;
In respect of the Environment and Land Court, by the Presiding
Judge of that Court;
In court stations With a single Judge, the matters emanating therefrom will be handled in the nearest High Court station where a
Recess Duty Judge is sitting which shall be indicated in the Station's notice board by the Presiding Judge of such single Judge Station.
During the Recess, the offices of the aforesaid courts, including registries, shall be open to the public from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on all weekdays other than the public holidays.

NOTICE is given that PowerGen Renewable Energy East Africa, a limited liability company having its registered office at Karen Plains
Arcade, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, ("the applicant"), pursuant to the provisions of section 28 of the Energy Act, 2006, on 21st
February, 2018, made an application to the Energy Regulatory
Commission for the electric power for a permit for distribution and supply of electricity to selected customers on the Unilever tea estate in
Kericho county.
The project consists of distribution networks, service lines and other wiring for the supply of electricity to households and small commercial establishments. The grant of the permit will not have adverse effect on any public or local authorities, companies, persons or bodies of persons within the areas of the undertaking.
A copy of the application (subject to confidentiality considerations) will be available (once lodged) for inspection by the public at the registered office of the appilcant.
Any public or local authority, company, person or body of persons desirous of making any representation on or objection to the applIcation must do so by a letter addressed to the Energy Regulatory
Commission and marked on the outside of the cover enclosIng it
