PURSIUANT to regulation 21 of the Environmental Management and Co-ordination (Impact Assessment and Audit) Rcgulations,2003, the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has received an Environmcntal Impact Assessment Study Report for the above prolrcsed projcct.
The proponent, National Cement Company Limited, is proposing to establish a cement plant at North West of Njoro Town in Nakuru
County. 'l'tre proposed pmject will include the following phased components; raw materid extraction, raw material preparation, solid fuel prepa'ration, raw matcrial heating, cemcnt grinding and storage, bagging arnd dispatch.
