APPOINTMENT

IT IS notified for information to the general public that pursuant to the provisions of section 12 (3) paragraph (d) of the County Governments Act and section 9(2) of the County Assembly Services Act, the County Assembly of Elgeyo/Marakwet notifies the vacancy of two (2) Board Members, one being a man and the other a woman to the Elgeyo/Marakwet County Assembly Service Board. Requirements Sections 8 and 9 of the County Assembly Services Act provides for the qualifications and procedure of appointment of Board Members as provided for under section 12 (3) paragraph (d) of County Governments Act— (a) is a citizen of Kenya; (b) holds a degree from university recognized in Kenya; (c) has at least ten (10) years experiences in public affairs; and (d) meets the requirements of leadership and integrity in Chapter Six of the Constitution. Interested persons who qualify are therefore invited to submit their applications to the Office of the Clerk of the County Assembly at the County Assembly premises, Iten not later than Thursday, 28th September, 2017.
