THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Michael Njeru Raphael (deceased), of Embu in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of those pieces of land containing 2.3 and 2.466 hectares or thereabout, known as Gaturi/Nembure/341 and Kagaari/Kanja/251, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas the chief magistrate’s court at Maua in succession cause No. 15 of 2013, has ordered that the said pieces of land be registered in the name of Mercy Wambura Njeru (ID/0719500), and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deeds issued in respect of the said pieces of land by the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deeds and proceed with registration of the said grant documents and issue land title deeds to the said Mercy Wambura Njeru (ID/0719500), and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Michael Njeru Raphael (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
