PROPOSED ACQUISITION
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 46 (6) of the Competition
Act, 2010, it is notified for general information of the public that the
Competition Authority of Kenya has approved the proposed acquisition of 100% of the issued share capital of Monsato Kenya
Limited by Bayer AktiengesellscharlKWA Investment Company due to the following reasons— the transaction will not affect competition negatively; and the transaction is unlikely to lead to any negative public interest issues.
