PROPOSED ACQUISITION

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 46(6) of the Competition Act, 2010, it is notified for general information of the public that the Competition Authority of Kenya has approved the proposed acquisition of a controlling interest in Weetabix East Africa Limited by Weetabix Limited due to the following— (a) the transaction will not affect competition negatively; and (b) the transaction is unlikely to lead to any negative public interest issues.
