PURSUANT to the provisions of section 46(6) of the Competition Act, 2010, it is notified for general information of the public that the Competition Authority of Kenya has approved the proposed joint venture between Africa Finance Corporation and Aldwych Holdings Limited due to the following reasons— (a) the transaction will not lessen or prevent competition in the market for electric power generation; and (b) the transaction is unlikely to lead to any negative public interest issues.
