THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No.3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Elizabeth Wangeci Muya (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as Euasonyiro/Suguroi Block v/I 120. situate in the district of Laikipia, and whereas the High Court at Nyeri in succession cause No. 950 of 2012, has issued grant letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Leah Nyambura Ngunjiri and (2) Wachira Ngunjiri Gatitu, and whereas the said administrators have executed an application to be registered as proprietors by transmission of R.L. 19, and whereas the land title deed of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in the names of (1) Leah Nyambura Ngunjiri and (2) Wachira Ngunjiri Gatitu, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Elizabeth Wangeci Muya (deceased) shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
