PRINCIPLES OF GOVERNANCE IN MIGORI COUNTY
1.0 INTRODUCTION
Migori County Public Service Board (MCPSB) was established on

4.0 MISSION OF MCPSB
To transform Migori County Public Service into a vibrant' efficient' effective, Profession-al and ethical for the realization of the County
Development Goals.
5.0 FUNCTIONS AND POWERS OFMCPSB
The functions of Migori County Public Service Board are:
1. To establish and abolish offices in the Mrgori County Public
Service.
2. To appoint persons to hold or act in offices of the Migori
Couniy nuUti" Service including in the Boards.of cities and urban areas within the county and to confirm appointments'
3. To exercise disciplinary control over and remove persons holding or acting in thosi offices as provided fbr under this part'
4. To prepare regular reports for submission. to. the County
Assembly on thi execution of the functlons of the board'
5. To promote in the Migori County Public Servtce the values and principles ret'erred to in Articles l0 and232'
7.
To evaluate and report to the Migori County Assembly on the extent to which the values and principles referred to in Articles l0 and,232 are complied with in Migori County public
Service.
To facilitate the development of coherent, integrated human resource planning and budgeting for personnel emoluments in the County.
8. To advise the Migori County Govemment on human resource management and development.
9. To advise Migori County Govemment on implementation and monitoring of the national performance management system in the County.
10. To make recommendations to the Salaries and Remuneration
Commission, on behalf of the Migori County Government, on the
_remuneration, pensions and gratuities for Migori County
Public Service employees.
