THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Evans Mwamuye Munga, of P.O. Box 83534–80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor in freehold interest of all that piece of land containing 0.0180 hectare or thereabouts, known as L.R. No. 2329/II/MN, situate in Mombasa Municipality in Mombasa District, registered as C.R. 17798, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the deed file in respect of the title has been lost or misplaced, and whereas the registered owner has executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, I intend to proceed with the registration of the said instrument of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file for the purposes of the registration of document presented in the registry as provided under the provisions of section 33 (5) of the Act, provided that no objection has been received within that period.
