Thc terms ofreference ofthe taskforce are to- (a) co-ordinatc and oversee the harmonization of settlement and demarcation of the disputed boundary among Keekonyoikie, Purko and lrodokilan group ranches; (b) rcceive, hcar, cvaluate and dercrmine complaints and concerns from memben of the public or from any other persons on thcir bchalf; (c) scnsitizc thc local communiry on the dcmarcation cxcrcisc and the need to embracc peace, reconciliation and the outcome of thc dccision of thc taskforcel and (d) make rccommendations of the, possible remedial measurcs !o the Cabinet Secretary. 2. In the performance of its functions, the taskforce may- (c) hold such number of mgetings in such places and at such times as the taskforce shall, in consulution with the Cabinet Secreory, considcr necessary for the proper discharge of its firnctions; (D) conduct public hearings and open forums and receive vicws from rncmbcrs of the public; and (c) receive oral or writtcn submissions from any person with relevant information. 3. Tho taskforce shall rcgulate its own procedure The taskforce shall remain in offrce for a period of one month with effect from the date of publication of this noticc or for such longcr period as thc Cabinct Secrctary may, by notice in thc Gazcuc, prescribc.
