THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Sultana Fadhil, of P.O. Box 3060-80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor in leasehold interest of all that piece of land containing 0.1656 hectare or thereabouts, known as MN/I/6624, registered as C.R No. 32161, situate within Mombasa Municipality in Mombasa District, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the deed file in respect of the said land title deed has been lost/misplaced, and whereas the registered proprietor has executed a deed of indemnity in favour of the Government of the Republic of Kenya, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof unless a counter objection is received within that period, I shall proceed with the registration of the said deed of indemnity and reconstruct the deed file under the provisions of section 33 (5) of the Act, provided that no objection has been received within that period.
