IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by Article 89 of the Constitution of Kenya, and the fifth Schedule to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Act, 2011, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission gives notice to the public that pursuant to the Order issued by the Court of Appeal in NBI CA No. 281 of 2012, Shahan Mohamud Hassan vs IEBC and others and NBI CA No. 307 of 2012, Ex Chief Peter Odoyo Ogada vs IEBC the names and Boundaries in respect of Lafey and Mandera East constituencies and the wards, and the names in respect of Suba and Mbita constituencies shall be those published vide L.N. No. 14 of 2012. Pursuant to the said Orders, the names and boundaries of the wards in Lafey and Mandera East and the boundary between those constituencies shall henceforth be deemed altered to accord with the Order. The names in respect of Mbita and Suba constituencies shall henceforth be renamed Suba North and Suba South, respectively. Dated the 17th March, 2016. A.1.
