GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 1820

WHEREAS Isaac Lichina Libasia, is registered as proprietor of that piece of land known as KakamegalShinyalu/1441, situate in the district of Kakamega, and whereas the district land registrar in this letter Ref. Misc award 150/08 dated the 30th January, 2009, has issued summons under section 8 (b) of Cap. 300 to the said Isaac Lichina Libasia to appear before him and produce the land title deed in respect of the said piece of land issued to him, and whereas efforts made to compel the registered proprietor to surrender the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land to the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed to cancel the registration in favour of Christopher Asutsi Atsango and reinstate the name of Isaac Lichina Libasia, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Isaac Lichina Libasia, shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
