PURSUANT to clause 5 of Part III of the Schedule of Tariffs 2013, notice is given that all prices for electrical energy specified in Part 11 -(A) of the said Schedule will be liable to a Water Resource Management Authority (WRMA) levy of plus 5 cents per kWh. for all meter readings taken in January, 2016. Information used to calculate the WRMA lev y: Approved NVRMA levy for energy purchased from hydropower plants of capacity equal to or above I MW = 5 Kenya cents per KWIL Total units purchased from hydropower plants with capacity equal to or above I MW = 306,006,751 kWh. Total units generated and purchased including hydros excluding exports in December, 2015 = 799,528,080 kWh.
