PURSUANT to the Constitution of Kenya, Fourth Schedule Part 2 (2) (a) and (c) and Chapter IV Part 2, Article 43 (1) (a) on the right to highest attainable standard of health, section 36 (1) of the Primary Health Care Act, section 18 (1) of the Primary Health Care Act and the Kenya Primary Health Care Strategic Framework 2019–2024 and upon approval by Homa Bay County Executive, the County Executive Committee Member for Public Health and Medical Services gazettes the following eight (8) Primary Health Care Networks (PCNs)— (a) Rachuonyo East PCN (b) Rachuonyo South PCN (c) Rachuonyo North PCN (d) Ndhiwa PCN (e) Rangwe PCN (f) Suba North PCN (g) Suba West PCN (h) Suba South PCN Purpose of the Primary Health Care Networks A Primary health care network shall serve in catchment population as shall be determined by the County Primary Health Care Advisory Committee and shall facilitate delivery and access to primary health care services from the com unity, as well as co-ordinate with health facilities in order to improve the overall operational efficiency of the network. Each primary health care network shall comprise of a hub and spokes and shall register every person in the county as member of a primary health care network. ROSELYNN A.
