THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS John Karanja Kuria (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all those pieces of land known as Lari/Kirenga/3648 and 3592, containing 0.101 and 0.944 hectare or thereabouts, respectively, situate in the district of Ruiru, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Limuru in Succession Cause No. E191 of 2023, THE KENYA GAZETTE 13th December, 2024 has issued grant of letters of administration to (1) Agnes Kawira Karanja and (2) George Kuria Karanja, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said John Karanja Kuria (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instrument R.L. 19 and R.L. 7 and issue land title deed to (1) Agnes Kawira Karanja and (2) George Kuria Karanja, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to John Karanja Kuria (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
