COMPLETION OF DEVELOPMENT PLAN

PURSUANT to the provisions of section (47) of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, 2019, notice is given that the County Government of Wajir intends to commence the preparation of the above plans on the 22nd day of November, 2024. The purpose of the plans is to provide a framework to guide tenure regularization for the residents of the participating settlements. The exercise will be undertaken under the Kenya Informal Settlements Improvement Project (KISIP2), a Government of Kenya project, whose aim is to improve access to basic services and land tenure security of the residents in participating urban informal settlements and strengthen institutional capacity for slum upgrading in Kenya.
