THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Muli Maungo Munga (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 2.4 hectares or thereabout, situate in the district of Kitui, known as Matinyani/Kauma/1588, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kitui in Succession Cause No. E196 of 2023, has issued letters of administration in favour of Mbuvi Muli Maungo and whereas Mbuvi Muli Maungo has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R.A 39, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Muli Maungo Munga (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in the name of Mbuvi Muli Maungo and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Muli Maungo Munga (deceased) shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
