THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Herman Kihima Bwosi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.21 hectare or thereabouts, known as Kakamega/Buyonga/1712, situate in the district of Vihiga, and whereas the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Vihiga in Succession Cause No. E33 of 2024, has issued letters of administration in favour of Job Karani Bwosi, and whereas the said Job Karani Bwosi has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Job Karani Bwosi, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Herman Kihima Bwosi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
