IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 8 (1) of the Community Land Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development, in consultation with the County Government of Wajir has developed the Adjudication Programme for the following communities in Wajir County set out in the second column of the Schedule. Community Land Sub-Counties Locality/ Description Wajir North Constituency Buna Bute Korondile The extent of Wajir North Constituency (No. 33) as established through the National Assembly Constituencies and County Assembly Wards Order, 2012. (LN 14 of 2012) Wajir East Constituency Wajir East Khorof Harar The extent of Wajir East Constituency (No. 34) as established through the National Assembly Constituencies and County Assembly Wards Order, 2012. (LN 14 of 2012) The community land excludes Wajir Municipality-L.R. No. 13607 Tarbaj Constituency Tarbaj Kutulo The extent of Tarbaj Constituency (No. 35) as established through the National Assembly Constituencies and County Assembly Wards Order, 2012. (LN 14 of 2012). Wajir West Constituency Giriftu Hadado The extent of Wajir East Constituency (No. 36) as established through the National Assembly Constituencies and County Assembly Wards Order, 2012. (LN 14 of 2012). Eldas Constituency Eldas Eldas South The extent of Eldas Constituency (No. 37) as established through the National Assembly Constituencies and County Assembly Wards Order, 2012. (LN 14 of 2012). Wajir South Constituency Habaswein Wajir South Diif Sabuli The extent of Wajir South Constituency (No. 38) as established through the National Assembly Constituencies and County Assembly Wards Order, 2012. (LN 14 of 2012). The Cabinet Secretary shall proceed to publish the notices of the intention to survey, demarcate for registration of communities and community land in the Schedule in accordance with section 8 (4) of the Community Land Act and any other law relating to adjudication of titles to land.
