THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS John Kieke Mutuku (deceased), is registered as proprietor of that piece of land containing 0.1 hectare or thereabouts, known as Machakos/Nguluni/1719, situate in the county of Machakos, and whereas the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Kangundo has issued grant of letters of administration to (1) Philes Nduku Kieke (ID/12858902) and (2) Lydia Kamene Kieke, and whereas the said (1) Philes Nduku Kieke (ID/12858902) and (2) Lydia Kamene Kieke have L.R.A. 39 for registration, and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land has been missing or lost, and whereas all efforts made to recover the said land title deed for the said piece of land have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of L.R.A. 39 in the name of (1) Philes Nduku Kieke (ID/12858902) and (2) Lydia Kamene Kieke, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said John Kieke Mutuku (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
