THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Mary Wangechi Maroki (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 2.62 hectares or thereabout, known as Gakawa/Githima Block 1/Burguret/752, situate in the district of Nyeri, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Nyeri in Succession Cause No. 269 of 1995, has issued letters of administration to John Kinyua Maroki, as the administrator and beneficiaries are (1) Thomas Karuri Marori and (2) John Kinyua Maroki, and whereas the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece is lost and cannot be traced, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of transfer by transmission documents L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 in favor of the said John Kinyua Maroki, as the administrator and (1) Thomas Karuri Marori and (2) John Kinyua Maroki, as beneficiaries, and upon such registration, the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Mary Wangechi Maroki (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
