APPOINTMENT

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 8 (2A) of the Climate Change Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Forestry appoints— THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY to be the Designated National Authority for market mechanisms and any other mechanisms derived from Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, with effect from the 12th June, 2024.
