IN EXERCISE of powers conferred by section 6 of the Embu County Tax Waivers Administration Act, 2015, notice is given that the County Executive Committee Member for Finance and Economic Planning, with the concurrence of the Governor, shall waive penalties and/interest on outstanding land rates for those who will pay such rates within the period of the 6th May, 2024 and the 5th June, 2024, inclusive. This is after taking into consideration inflation rates and encouraging the tax payers to meet their tax obligations. Dated the 23rd April, 2024. KINYUA N.
