THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Gershon John Mbogoh (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.047 and 0.0464 hectare or thereabouts, known as Gaturi Githimu/2698 and Embu Township/325, respectively, situate in the district of Embu, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in Succession Cause No. 1110 of 1999, has directed that the said piece of land be registered in the name of (1) Margeret Rachel Muthoni Mbogo and (2) Arthur Munene Mbogo and as administrator to the estate of Gershon John Mbogoh (deceased), and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed issued in respect of the said piece of land by the land registrar have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said grant document and issue land title deeds to the said (1) Margeret Rachel Muthoni Mbogoand (2) Arthur Munene Mbogo, and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Gershon John Mbogoh (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
